Abstracts

We cordially invite you to submit your abstracts for poster and/or oral presentations to the European Stroke Conference 2018. We are looking forward to receiving your contributions for the scientific programme and would like to thank you in advance for your support!

Accepted abstracts will be included as oral or poster presentations in the programme. All accepted abstracts will also be published in the journal "Cerebrovascular Diseases” of Karger. 

Thank you for submitting your results from research and practice on the following main topics:

  • Acute stroke management including new interdisciplinary concepts (New)                            
  • Intracerebral/subarachnoid hemorrhage and venous disorders

The deadline for the abstract submission is 11 December 2017!

Different forms for abstract submission /abstract presentation

  • oral presentation (as usual presence on-site)
  • e-poster presentation (as usual presence on-site)
  • virtual e-poster presentation (virtually on the internet – for authors who cannot attend in person)

Travel Grants and Awards for Excellent Research
In the course of the anonymous abstract rating process, you will also be able to apply for one of 100 ESRF Travel Grants  amounting to 300 EUR per person for top scored abstracts. Please note that the presenting author must be under 35 years.
In addition, 10 Awards for Excellent Research (amounting to 1000 EUR each) will be selected (top 10 contributions) irrespective of age.

Copyright
Please note that you must release the copyright (online e-book and e-book of the journal "Cerebrovascular Diseases" / KARGER, and, possibly, supplement of the journal with all e-posters, as well as possibly web documentary). 

Review
After reviewing all submitted abstracts, authors will be informed about the decision by the end of January 2018. Authors of not accepted contributions will be reimbursed the participation fee minus a processing fee of 25 EUR, if cancellation is made before the expiry of the official cancellation deadline (11 March 2018).
